We thought we'd be running through the Frankfurt Airport to make our connection, but we had time for espressos and a blog post! Not bad.
The flight was uneventful, but pre-flight was. The mean woman at the Lufthansa counter made us check our small roller bags. You know, the same size that everyone else has and brings on planes all the time. In fact, we saw plenty on the plane, and since it was a 747, there was plenty of room.
It was not easy getting 9 days into one of those things, and as it turns out it was all for naught. Oh well...the best laid plans and all that...
